Tutú, el pájaro más talentoso del mundo
Últimamente he sido acusado de hacer afirmaciones totalizantes sin fundamento. La que hago sobre Tutú tiene toda la razón de ser y no me importa que sea un acto de discriminación —este sí absolutamente consciente y deliberado—. Tutú es el pájaro más talentoso del mundo y pare de contar. Esta es la razón:

¡Este pájaro hacía virtualmente cualquier sonido!
Tutú, según su dueña, es un pájaro que se conoce como quinquina o templón. De acuerdo con eso, su nombre científico sería cyanolyca viridicyana y estaría emparentado con los azulejos.
El buen Tutú vivía en el patio donde estaban los baños en la pensión donde nos quedamos en San Agustín. Iba yo al baño en la mañana del primer día y salio de su jaula para gritarme y espantarme con su particular gritería. Lamentablemente no quedó registrada, pero es algo como una campana, un sonido metálico —quin, quin, quin—, que daría origen a su nombre popular. Cuando uno lo asustaba, gritaba histéricamente. Pero lo más bonito era cuando bailaba, que fue lo que pude grabar.
Adenda: Finalmente logró determinarse que el pájaro es un cyanocorax yncas.

Jaula es jaula. El pisco debe andar luciéndose para ver si lo dejan libre algún día: reducción de pena por labores culturales cumplidas. Eso de ‘la dueña’ suena horrible, es un concepto que deberá desaparecer en este siglo. No somos dueños de ningún ser distinto al propio, menos de uno tan talentoso. Si no me cree Juglar, mire lo que le pasó al viejo King Kong, para lo cual no necesita ver el bodrio de película que están dando, zipote refrito. Suelten a ése berraco pajarraco ya!
