Escenarios de la violencia
Anoche en La luciérnaga hablaron del viejo que se mató en la biblioteca Virgilio Barco. Lo que preocupaba a Peláez y a Rincón era que el tipo hubiera metido un arma de fuego a aquel templo de la cultura escrita y de la arquitectura sin funcionalidad. Les preocupaba que solamente hubiera un detector de metales común y corriente y que no hubiera requisas a fondo, de esas que usan en el estadio para sacar objetos contudentes como las pilas del radio o el mismo radio.
Más adelante van a decir que si la gente «no va tanto a las bibliotecas como antes» es culpa de la violencia de los campos, que tristemente ha llegado a la ciudad y que es fruto de la intolerancia, que corre por las venas de este pueblo animal.

Claro que es preocupante… o que le preocupa a ud? el hecho de que se haya perdido una simple vida humana? que la gente se suicide? es ud de los que dice “Uyyy marica, por Dios, que le esta pasando a la gente de este país??

Por dios! era una biblioteca, los detectores, si están, detectan libros no armas.
Ojo, hay libros que matan más gente que un bazooka, generalmente son malos.
